League Life

A bunch of behind the scenes footy from the first Street League skateboarding stop in Kansas City.  And yes, I know Im not a filmer so spare me the comments on how shitty it was filmed.  Trust me, I know haha.

Street League Kansas City

First stop of the Street League season just went down in in Kansas City, MO this past weekend.  New format, a few new skaters, and the same "holy shit" feeling of watching these guys skate.  Shecks, Chris Cole, Chaz Ortiz, Nyjah, P-Rod, and Street League rookie Bastien Salabanzi all made it to the final big section.  Bastian pretty much had the crowd on their feet as it came down to his last trick (bigflip front board) which he almost landed for the win.  Also, in pretty much the opposite of surprises, Nyjah proved again that he is the best handrail skater on the planet and took home the $150,000 in winnings.  Positive vibes to Torey Pudwill who broke a couple fingers in qualifiers and needs surgery.

 

Mark McMorris Not Snowboarding

You probably know that Red Bull snowboarder Mark McMorris won back to back gold medals at this year's Winter X-Games.  You probably also know that Mark does triple corks and is pretty much a certified bad ass.  What you probably didn't know is that Mark has got some skills on the skateboard as well.  He has been down in Southern California kickin' it with us for about a week in between some of his spring shoots.  Took a couple shots of him shredding the warehouse with us one night.  Check them!
